GLENWOOD, UTAH-Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Glena Vee Coleman Newby, age 71, died November 8, 2007 at her home in Glenwood, after a valiant battle with Cancer. She was born Sept. 19, 1936 in Teasdale, Utah, a daughter of Charles Ellis and Ruth Allen Coleman. She married John A. Newby, Sept. 18, 1953 in the Manti LDS Temple. Glena Vee was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings and functions. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and she had a big love for country music. Glena Vee was a big Jazz fan - - GO JAZZ!!!



She is survived by her husband of Glenwood; children: Keith and Chrissy Newby of Richfield; Kenra and Waldo Jr. Martinez of Salt Lake City; Allen and Christy Newby of Colorado Springs, CO; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister: Lorna and Arlen Brown of Loa; brother-in-law: Marion Adams of Monroe; sister-in-law: Shirley and George Anderson of Elsinore. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melyssa Washburn; son-in-law, Blaine Washburn; four brothers and one sister: Gleave Coleman, Kell Coleman, twins, Sheldon and Eldon Coleman and Claon Adams.





Funeral Services will be held Tues. Nov. 13, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Glenwood LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. or at the ward chapel in Glenwood Tues. morning from 10:30-11:30 prior to the services.
Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
