Miss Dianne Yvonne Jones, age 16, of 1170 Southam Dr., died Thursday, January 30, 1975. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard B. Jones; a sister, Miss Melanie Jones; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Katie Jones, all of Richmond; and paternal grandfather, Mr. Emmett D. Jones, of Daytona Beach, Florida. Remains rest at the Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where services will be conducted 11 A.M., Monday, February 3, with interment in Westhampton Memorial Park."

" Chesterfield Girl Dies After Crash
A 17-year-old Chesterfield County girl died late Thursday of injuries received earlier in the evening in a single-car accident in southwest Richmond.
She was Dianne Yvonne Jones, 17, of 1170 Southam Drive, a junior at Manchester High School.
Charles Dunford Jr., 17, of 6006 Resting Way Lane was in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Chippenham Hospital last night from injuries received in the same accident.
Police reported that Dunford was northbound on Cherokee Road at 8:45 p.m. when he lost control of the car shortly after passing the Stratford Road intersection. The car went off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Miss Jones, who was thrown from the car, died at 11:30 p.m. in Chippenham Hospital.
State police reported that a 63-year-old Scott County man was killed ...
His death and that of Miss Jones brought the state's 1975 traffic toll to 76, or four more than had been reported a year ago."
