"Fay Brooks Decker, age 78, of Mammoth Cave, departed this life on Friday, June 4, 2021 at her residence. The Edmonson County native was born on October 25, 1942 to the late Abraham and Sarah Elizabeth Rich Brooks. She was married to Miner Decker, who preceded her in death.
Fay was a former seamstress at Brownsville Manufacturing and a former employee at Josco. She was a member of Nolin United Baptist Church.
She leaves to honor her memory-- her son, Greg Decker (Penny) of Mammoth Cave; grandson, Corey Decker (Madeline) of Smiths Grove; sister, Janie Bell Sanders of Mammoth Cave and six brothers, Tommy Brooks (Seretta) of Mammoth Cave, Johnny Brooks (Donna) of Chalybeate, Roger Brooks (Angie) of Mammoth Cave, Jackie Brooks of Shepherdsville, Jake Brooks (Debbie) of Mammoth Cave and Dennis Ray Brooks of Mammoth Cave. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Cecil "Smithy" , Judson and Jimmy Brooks.
Interment will be in Hill Grove Church Cemetery. "
