LaVaughn (Bonnie) Evelyn Snowden passed away on October 31, 2018 only 30 days after the death of her husband of 35 years, Jack, at their home in Stevenson, WA. She was 83 years old. Bonnie married Jack Eugene Snowden on 8 August 1982. Her family will always miss her wide smile and her warm voice. She dedicated her life to ensuring the welfare of her family. She was a hardworking owner of the Sunset Restaurant in Cle Elum, WA. Later on she and Jack retired to Summit Lake then to Tumwater, WA. She was a wonderful cook, avid quilter, and green-thumb gardener until she was stricken by Alzheimer's.

On 9 October 1952, Bonnie married Joseph Loren Carter in Olympia, Washington. To this union 3 sons and a daughter were born. Bonnie is survived by her sister Judith Krentz (CA), by her three sons and daughter, by her stepson, and her 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life was held on 8 December 2018 at the Sunset Restaurant in Cle Elum, WA.
