Bert Fulks, partner in the former Fulks mill of Columbus, died Monday at his home 5280 Northwest Fourth street, Miami. Mr. Fulks had lived in Miami for about 12 years. He had not been seriously ill and was stricken suddenly following an asthma attack.
Funeral rites and burial were held at Miami.
Mr. Fulks and a brother, the late John Fulks, operated the Fulks mill on East Sixth street until it ceased operations about 1940. The mill was started by the father. Willard Fulks. in 1920. John Fulks died in 1955, the victim of a rare blood defect, aplastic anemia.
Survivors are the wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Fulks; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Ferry of 2240 Cherry street and Mrs. Laverne Adams of Nashville, Tenn., and three sons. Glen Fulks, of Lancaster, O., and Charles and Chester Fulks, both of Miami.
