MRS. JULLIETTE ACEY BROOKS was born Saturday, August 12, 1939 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, one of six children, to Joe and Addie Ruth Acey.

Mrs. Julliette Acey Brooks peacefully transitioned from this life to her heavenly home on Wednesday, 26 May 2021 in the comfort of home in Montclair Virginia surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Julliette A. Brooks, mother of six children, "The Best Momma in the Whole World!" She LOVED her FAMILY. She had wisdom that would confound the wise. She shared many precious pearls of wisdom for life that have kept many grounded in faith and love. One of the most precious gems of wisdom imparted was "No matter what, God is Good!" She was like a lighthouse to her family and the world, full of love, hope, mercy, life and joy. She loved people, and anyone who met her came to love her genuine kindness and caring heart. She never met a stranger. Her heart, commitment and love for family and community was insurmountable. She was a blessing that has touched and transformed many lives, and the fruit from her abundantly generous spirit that will remain and continue to empower us eternally.

Mrs. Julliette A. Brooks, Mrs. Brooks, Momma Brooks…supported her husband, Charles Brooks throughout his 26 years in the US Army, coaching sports, continuing into his 20 year Department of Defense career. She traveled the world as an Ambassador of Love and Joy to Okinawa, Japan, Ft. Ritchie Maryland, Camp Darby in Livorno Italy, Ft. Gordon Georgia, Huesterhoe Kaserne in Pirmasens Germany, Robinson Barracks in Kaiserslautern Germany, Ft. Myers Arlington Virginia and making a home and building love ties in every community she encountered. She was a "Mother" to many.

Mrs. Julliette A. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Addie Ruth Acey, her brothers Billie M. Borden and George B. Acey, her sister Jessie Ruth Acey, her son Carlos Vene Brooks and Great grandson Michael L. Thomas.

Loving memories will be cherished by her husband, Charles Brooks, five daughters Audrey J. (Carlos) Vidal, Montclair VA, Felicia Jackson Virginia Beach, Freida Johnson Qatar, Christina (Michael) Brooks-Signo Martinsburg WV, Grace (Dave) Berger, Vilsek Germany, Olibias Brastianou, Jaegersburg Germany, her brother Curtis J Borden Louisville, Kentucky and sister Betty (Reginald) Alexander Winston-Salem, North Carolina. 10 Grand Children: Vance S. (Jennifer) Pawielski, Christina N. (Fred) Brooks-Anderson, Kiesha Johnson, Julian (Cherylynn) Vidal, Marcus Johnson, William (Amber) Jackson, Victoria (Yoshio) Nagatani, Jonathan Jackson, Shannon Berger, Niko Brastianou. 13 Great Grand: Hazel, Stacey, Destiny, Ralynne, Aubrey, Bella, Fred, Camryn, Curaun, Rasean, Phyllis and Mia, Little Julian, Laylah, Amyrah, Hailey. And a host of nieces and nephews, and other adopted relatives as well as many friends that loved her.
