Alicia Maria Chavez "Blacky" Our beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Alicia Chavez, passed away Oct. 8, 2007 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born March 6, 1985 in Vernal, Utah to Elaine and Gregorio "Chris" Chavez. Alicia was a fun-loving, caring and outgoing person who loved life and thought of others before herself. She had many accomplishments in her life. She was small, but had a big heart. Alicia made a big impression in peoples' lives that she met, leaving memories that will live on throughout their lives. She was loved and looked up to by all of her nieces and nephews. They loved when their aunt Alicia came around - she was a little kid at heart. Even though her life was cut short from everyone she loved, she will be watching over us in our lives and in spirit. She will be loved and missed, and will always be in our hearts and thoughts. Alicia is survived by her partner of eight years, Cody Pearce; parents, Elaine and Gregorio "Chris", Irene (Pete) Pearce; sisters, Jamie (Tony) Huff and Christy; brothers, Carlos (Nicole), Antonio (Vanessa); grandparents, Rosa Corral, Francis Fernandez, Luis Pearce, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held, Fri. October 12th, 2 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Road with a viewing one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery.
