Services for Mildred "Millie" Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2021 at Hilliard Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow at Providence Cemetery, Van Zandt Co. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., before the service.
Mildred Faye Willingham Anderson was born December 9, 1928 in Blossom, Texas. She had been a resident of Grand Saline since 1980, formerly living in Dallas. She retired at an early age from the US Postal Service after 15 years of service. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Van.
Mrs. Anderson passed away at the age of 92 on June 1, 2021 in Grand Saline. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John D. Moore in 1971; second husband, Wilburn Wesson Anderson in 2017; parents, Truman Travis Willingham and Mildred Faye Herzig Willingham; five siblings; and great-grandson, Johnny Moore III.
Survivors include her children, Linda Cottrell of Grand Saline, and Tony Moore and wife, Nancy of Rockwall; step-son, Johnny Moore, Sr. and wife, Maggie of Grand Saline; brother, Albert Willingham; sisters, Sherry Jumper and Mary Anderson; grandchildren, Johnny Moore, Jr., Jasen Hilton and Clint Hilton and wife, Mary; and great-great-grandchildren, Clinton Dale Hilton, Matea Hilton and Clay Hilton.
