MRS. ELIZABETH G. ADAIR PASSES AWAY
Mrs. Elizabeth G. Adair, 74, passed away Thursday afternoon at her home, 705 Benton road, Bossier City, following long period of illness. She was the widow of C. A. Adair of Dixie.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Bossier City Presbyterian church, with its pastor, Rev. T. E. Davis, officiating. Interment was in Forest Park cemetery under direction of Wellman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: W. L. McKinney, Charles Rowe, Ray Festervan, Arthur Simms, Willard Gillenwater, and Arnold Cox.
Mrs. Adair was formerly Miss Elizabeth Lee Germany. She was born in Richland parish Jan. 1, 1872. She moved to Dixie, Caddo parish, as bride of Chas. A. Adair in 1896, and resided there until her husband passed away.
For the past twelve years she resided in Bossier City, where she was active as a member of the First Presbyterian church during the past four years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Karl Cox.
Besides Mrs. Cox, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. M. M. Hanes, Bossier City, Mrs. Frank N. Fitch of Denver, Col., and Mrs. E. L. Elder of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Roy G. Adair of Vidor, Texas, and John M. Adair of Bossier City; one sister, Mrs. Charles Bergfelt of Laguna Beach, Calif.; four grandsons, Adair Cox, Langsford and Frank Elder, and Martin Hanes.

Interment will be in Forest Park cemetery under direction of Osborn Funeral Home. Mrs. Adair died at her home Thursday.
