Funeral services for Rube Russell Adams, Sr., 48, of St. Vincent's avenue, who died at a local sanitarium at 6:05 a. m. Saturday after a long illness, will be conducted at 4 p. m. at Rose-Neath funeral chapel by the. Rev. B. F. Wallace, pastor of Lakeshore Baptist Church. Interment will he in Forest Park cemetery. The body will remain at the chapel until the hour for services. Adams, who is a veteran of World War I, is survived by one son, Rube Russell Adams, Jr., Shreveport; one daughter, Miss Katie Berne Adams, Shreveport; four brothers, U. S. and R. E. Adams, both of Muskogee, Okla., B. S. Adams, Shreveport, and O. L. Adams of Houston, Texas, and one sister, Mrs. Bert Swearingen, Shreveport.
