RATLIFF, IRENE NAPIER - born January 23, 1919 in Collins, MS, passed away October 22, 2007 in Knoxville. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Fountain City and Ossoli Circle. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Alma Strahan Napier; one sister; and six brothers. Mrs. Ratliff is survived by son and daughter-in-law, William T. (Bill) & Marianne Ratliff, Jr. of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Donna R. & L.L. (Mac) McAllister of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, William T. (Britt) Ratliff III, Kay Celeste Ratliff, Frederick Charles Perkinson, Jr. and wife, Rose, Jonathan Wayne Perkinson and wife, Marguerite, Adam Duane Perkinson; great grandchildren, Frederick Charles Perkinson, III and Katherine Rosalie Perkinson; brother, Dewitt Napier of Collins, MS; sister, Betty Holloway of Wewahitchka, FL; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel 9:30 A.M. Thursday to travel in procession to Greenwood Cemetery for a 10:00 A.M. graveside service with Rev. Don Ferguson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 4014 Garden Dr., Knoxville, TN 37918 or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
