Mr. Marson Ray Scott of Summersville, Kentucky was born on Friday, June 18, 1943 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky. He was 72 years, three months, and 22 days of age. 

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Aetna Grove Baptist Church. He owned and operated a dairy farm and raised tobacco. He drove a milk truck for Southern Belle Dairy and Armour Dairy. He was a native of Green County, KY, a resident of the county at the time of his death, and will be laid to rest in the county of his birth. He was the son of the late Elic Marson Scott and Virginia Alice Scott.   He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, McKayla Scott. 

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Edmonds Scott of Summersville, KY, having united in marriage on December 23, 1964.

Other survivors include sons: Brian (Deanna) Scott of Summersville, KY; and Travis (Stephanie) Scott of Greensburg, KY

Grandchildren:  Danielle (Brandon) Mackie of Campbellsville, KY; Jordan (Becca) Scott, Brianna Scott, Blake Scott, and Hailey Paige Scott all of Green County, KY

A great-grandchild: Braylee Mackie of Campbellsville, KY

Brother-in-law: Jimmy Edmonds of Green County, KY.  Sisters-in-law: Phyllis Copley of Hodgenville, KY; and Carol (Jerry) Durrett of Greensburg, KY.  Aunts: Exie Elliott of Hodgenville, KY; and Linvia Gibson of Indiana and a host of other relatives and friends.
