William Earl Kingsley, 58, manager of the meat department at the Sigman's Store at Fifth and Washington, died unexpectedly yesterday at his home, N3422 Nettleton.
He had just finished Thanksgiving dinner at his home when he was stricken, apparently with a heart attack, his family reported.
Born March 4, 1907, in Howard, Kansas, Mr. Kinsley had lived in Hutchinson, Kansas, most of his life before coming to Spokane 10 years ago.
He was a member of Audubon Park Methodist Church, Meatcutters Union Local 494 and of Reno Masonic Lodge No. 140 of Hutchinson, Kansas.
Mr. Kingsley is survived by his wife, Goldie, at the home; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Muriel) Westerman, Larson Air Force Base, Moses Lake; a son, William R., Spokane; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ray Dellinger, Howard, Kansas, and Mrs. Ruth Connell, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; three nieces; and five nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon at Hazen & Jaegers, Rev. William Franklin Summerour officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace with Oriental Lodge No. 74, F&AM, participating at the grave.
