Mrs. Lelia M. Cartledge

Funeral services for Mrs. Lelia Meek Cartledge, 81, who died Saturday, were conducted at Bethel Sunday afternoon, February 7, at 3:30 with the Rev. A. R. Beasley and Rev. Landrum Salley officiating. Interment was made under the direction of Lee Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cartledge was born in Texas. She was the widow of the late J. M. Cartledge and was a member of the Poplar Creek Baptist church.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Pullen and Mrs. J. B. Whinery, both of Indianola; one sister, Mrs. Alice Lackey, and one brother, Will Meek, of Texas; two granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Charlie Brown, Tully Townsend, E. F. Henderson, Emmett Kemp, Y.M. Lott and James Montgomery.
