KING, Mrs. Ida Stephens of Rockdale. Age 82. Died 2/5/1960 (Friday) in Rockdale after a long illness. Services held (Sunday) in the Salty Comm. Church near where she was born. Burial in Salty Cemetery. Rev. M.M. Fulmer, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Rockdale officiated. She was the widow of the late Rufus L. King. Mrs. King had lived for nearly 50 years on land now used by the Aluminum Co. of America. Her house is the only one left on the land.

She was BORN in 1878.

SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Rufus King of Rockdale and W.F. King of Florida; 2 daughters, Mrs. Nancy Snodgrass and Mrs. Ada Harris, both of Rockdale; brother, L.D. Stephens; sister, Mrs. Ada Abernathy; 2 granddaughters and grandson; several nieces and nephews.
