DONALD REX WEISBACH, 78, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at his residence. Born March 3, 1928, in New Albany, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Louise (Englehart) Weisbach. He was a communications engineer for Indiana Michigan Electric Company for 31 years. He was a graduate of Purdue University, in 1957 and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Survived by his wife, Marilyn J. Weisbach of Roanoke; son, David J. (Beverly) Weisbach of Fort Wayne; sisters, Joyce Austin of New Albany and Gayle (James) Martin of Lakeland, Fla.; granddaughters, Heather (Michael) Berkshire of Fort Wayne and Jennifer Rouns of New Haven; five great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Treva M. Boze of Anderson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert O. Weisbach. Service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Monson Chapel United Methodist Church , 11431 Lower Huntington Road, Roanoke. The Rev. Terrry McDonald officiating. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at D. O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Memorials to Monson Chapel Building Fund or donor's choice.
