FORT PIERCE - V. Clayton Williams, 87, of Fort Pierce died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001.
A native of Ringgold, Ga., he lived in Fort Pierce for 41 years. He moved here from Oakridge, Tenn.
Before retirement, he was a lieutenant colonel in the Army.
He attended Northside Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lanell Williams of Fort Pierce; two sons, David Clayton Williams of Fort Pierce and Darrell Shannon Williams of Maui, Hawaii; a daughter, Gail Lee Stanley of Hosford, Fla.; a brother, Shaw Williams of Dalton, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today at Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. James Biles will officiate.
Burial will be in White City Cemetery.
