Charles M. Barrickman, 86, of Lower Burrell, died Monday, May 24, 2021 in Belair Health and Rehabilitation, Lower Burrell.

He was born in Morgantown, WV on July 8, 1934 to the late Harry M. and Virginia N. Howdershelt Barrickman and has been a resident of Lower Burrell for the past 42 years after moving from New Stanton, Pa.

Mr. Barrickman was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving two tours of duty including the Korean War. As a civilian, he worked as a freelance design draftsman and then as a design engineer, retiring from PPG Industries. He traveled to many states and spent time stationed in Japan while in the service. He enjoyed traveling, golfing, playing chess and restoring his wife's Corvette. His friends will always remember his unique sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Constance L. Schenk Barrickman, daughter Joyce (George) Gross; granddaughter Jillian Gross, sister Mary (Marvin) McNair and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Martha G. Humphrey.
