GALENA, Kan., Dec. 31—Mrs. Ida Pearl Jackman, 75 years old, a Galena resident 63 years, died at 6:05 o'clock tonight at Freeman hospital at Joplin, where she was admitted last Thursday.
She had been ill two weeks.
Born December 30, 1882, in Indian Territory, now Oklahoma, she came to Galena with her parents when 12 years old, and had resided here since. She was married to Ed G. Jackman, July 2, 1899. Her husband died several years ago. The family home is at 1200 East Seventh street.
She was a member of the Sixth Street Baptist church and the Galena Rebekah lodge.
Surviving are five sons, the Rev. Fred Jackman of Nixa, Mo., Robert William Jackman, Natchez, Miss., Edgar (Bill) Jackman, Galena, George Eugene Jackman, Falls Church, Va., and Arthur Jackman of Woodard, Okla.; two daughters. Mrs. Rhoda Hutto of Galena and Mrs. Nadine Hulse of Garden Grove, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Derfelt funeral home.

Jackman Rites Tomorrow.
GALENA, Kan., Jan. 2—Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Jackman, 75 years old, who died Tuesday night, will be conducted at 2 c'clock Saturday afternoon at the Sixth Street Baptist church. The Rev. Lyle Luton will officiate. Burial will be in Hill Crest cemetery, under direction of the Derfelt funeral home.
The body will lie in state at the Derfelt funeral home until the hour of the services.
Pallbearers will be John Simon, Homer Peek, Arthur Horn, Marion Downing, Dave Shaw, and Leo Alexander. The body will lie in state at the family home from 2 o'clock Friday afternoon until 11 o'clock Saturday morning when it will be moved to the church.
