Cora Lerline Winnett, age 91 of Lewisburg, died Nov. 7 at Hillside Hospital in Pulaski.

Winnett was a native of Giles County and daughter of the late Lewis A. and Mammie Jones DeFoe. She was retired from Durango Boot Company and member of Westvue Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husband, Smith D. Winnett, and son, John Winnett, she is survived by two sons, Monte Winnett of Lewisburg and Randy Winnett of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; three sisters, Zelma Thompson, Margarette Cashion, and Jodie Bone all of Lewisburg; four grandchildren, Dee Winnett, Jeremy Winnett, Boyd Winnett, and Nathalie Asher, and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in Short Cemetery.

The family will be at London Funeral Home Friday until the funeral hour for visitation.
