Kenneth was born September 5, 1915 in Charleston Utah to Stephen Andrew and Thresa Price Simmons. He will be remembered for his love of fishing, hunting and his rendition of "I am a Mormon Boy".
Ken was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving honorably in the Eastern States, New Zealand, Lagos, Nigeria, and Arizona, Tucson Missions. During World War II he served as a surgery technician and assistant chaplain in the Army.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and wife LaVonne. He is survived by daughters Dyanne (David) Alldredge, Melodie (Keith) Rodeback, Janeen (James) Castro and step daughter Dianne (Lewis) Newton, and their families.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at the Midway Stake Center, 165 North Center Street, Midway, Utah. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Hoopes Funeral Home, 288 North Main Street, Heber City and one half hour prior to the services.
Interment will follow at the Charleston Cemetery with Full Military Honors accorded.
