Miss Veronica Zelonis, 25 Tederick St., Pittston Township, died suddenly Monday in General Hospital after a short illness at home. Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Simon and Pauline Zelonis. She attended Pittston High School and was last employed by Pittston Apparel. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church and its Altar and Rosary Christian Mothers Society. Two brothers, , Herman, a victim of the Knox Disaster, and Daniel, and a sister, Frances, preceded her in death. Surviving are a brother, Anthony, Linden, N.J.; sister, Mrs, Joseph Pelesken, Elizabeth, N.J.t several nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Edwin A. Sites Funeral Home, 13 Mill St., Pittston, with Mass of Christian . Burial at 9:30 in St. Casimir's Church. Interment in parish cemetery. ' Friends tnay call Tuesday 7 to 9 and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wake services will be Wednesday at 7:30.
