Mrs. Agnes Segraves, aged 65 years, the eldest daughter of Stephan Mahood (deceased) died at her home in Hastings, Nebraska, a few days ago. Her body is expected to arrive any day and will be buried beside by the side of her father. Mrs. William P. Stone of this city, and Mrs. Byerly of Fennimore are sister of the deceased. John Mahood of Dakota, a brother.

Agnes Mae Mahood was born on 20 January 1824, in Wytheville, Wythe, Virginia, United States, her father, Stephen Mahood, was 25 and her mother, Susanna Elizabeth Raines, was 31. She married John Murray Segraves on 20 April 1842, in Lancaster, Grant, Wisconsin, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 6 daughters. She lived in Cassville, Grant, Wisconsin, United States in 1870 and Silver Lake Township, Adams, Nebraska, United States in 1880. She died on 12 April 1890, in Hastings, Adams, Nebraska, United States, at the age of 66, and was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, Grant, Wisconsin, United States.
