Jean was born on Nov. 3, 1958, to Fred W. and Carol J. (Wimby) Bell in Duluth.
Jean worked in maintenance at Denfeld High School until her early medical leave. Jean enjoyed music, pool, softball and bingo.
Jean is preceded in death by her mother, Carol Joan Bell.
Jean is survived by her father, Fred W. Bell of Superior; brothers Fred W. Bell Jr. and Maggie Bell of Minneapolis, Earl R. and Judy Bell of Madison, Donald E. Bell of Solon Springs, Wis., Anthony (Tony) M. Bell of Minneapolis, Johnny Bell of Seattle, Wash.; one sister, Pamila Bell of Minneapolis; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous friends and her two cats, Toby and Chummy, who she loved very much.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the loving care provided by Lake Shore Rehab, Solvay Hospice House and the Superior Alliance Church.
Visitation will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, in the Superior Alliance Church, 1604 Banks Ave., Superior, followed by a 2 p.m. service, Rev. G. Darrell Grant officiating. A fellowship meal follows the service at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solvay House or the Superior Alliance Church.
