"Edna L. Selby, 88 SHERIDAN -- Services for former teacher Edna Louella Selby, 88, of Sheridan, who operated a hunting camp at Elk Lake with her husband, will be Tuesday at 11 in the K&L Mortuary, with burial in the Evans Cemetery at Jeffers.
Mrs. Selby died Friday in the Sheridan nursing home. A native of Ohio, she was born Nov. 7, 1893, to William and Mae Hanna. She moved to Dillon in 1910 and taught in the first school at Barrett. She and Fay Selby married Oct. 14, 1912, in Butte. They lived for a time in the Madison Valley and later moved to the Centennial Valley where they operated a hunting camp at Hidden Lake for 30 years.
Surviving with her husband are sons, James of Sheridan, Harvey of Townsend and Homer of Williston, N.D.; daughter, Rita Eggleston of Sheridan; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Memorials are preferred to the Madison County Nursing Home in Sheridan."
