Shannon M. Hensley, 50, 304 W. Buffington Road, died Saturday in her home after a long illness.
A native of Fentress County, Tenn., she had lived in Muncie since 1950. She attended Eaton United Methodist Church. She and her husband owned and operated R&S Coin Laundry.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph; four daughters, Barbara Cox, Diana Zimmerman and Charlene Findling, all of Muncie, and Bettye Crawford, Grissom Air Force Base; a son, Richard Wilson, Jacksonville, Fla.; four stepsons, Phillip Hensley, Lakeland, Fla., Steven and David Hensley, both of Muncie, and Dana Hensley, Albany; two sisters, Zella Thomas, Allardt, Tenn., and Clella Vrella, Oxnard, Calif.; two brothers, J.C. Beaty, Muncie, and David Beaty, Jamestown, Tenn., and 22 grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Pitman-Richman Funeral Home, Eaton, with Rev. Robert Melling of Eaton United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Calling hours at the funeral home are 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today and before services Monday.
