Tip Top, June 5. — Arch Wallace, a former resident of Springville, was killed in the mines at Simmons, W. Va., on Thursday. He had gone in the mines to repair a car a few moments before and a projecting prop struck some loose slate and he was crushed to death. He was buried at the old Wallace cemetery at Springville. He leaves a wife, who is a daughter of Mr. H. E. Ashworth, and four small children. His death falls especially heavy on Mr. Aswhorth, whose wife died a short while since and who has had charge of the family of the late Chas. Wells, another son-in-law, who…
