Brian grew up in the Belfast area and had resided there all of his life.
He attended Belfast Central School, graduating in the Class of 1978. Later he attended SUNY Cobleskill, where he majored in recreational land management, graduating in 1980 with an associate's degree.
For many years he was a truck driver in the area.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, golfing, working in the wood lot and any outdoor activity.
He is survived by a son, B. Wesley (Lauren Elliott) Chamberlain of Belfast; two daughters, Roxanne "Roxie" Cole of Belfast and Margaret "Maggie" Barroso of Hinsdale; four grandchildren, Audrey, Gunnar, Camrie and Kiersten; three brothers, Carl (Heidi) Chamberlain of Malone, Gerald Chamberlain of Middleburgh and Steven (Vicki) Chamberlain of Belfast; two sisters, Sharon (Joe) Hartzold of Danvers, Ill. and Ellen (Jim) Wooley of Belfast; and several nieces and nephews.
