Services held at Shivers for Mrs. Roma McInnis Shivers
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from the Shivers Baptist Church for Mrs. Roma McInnis Shivers, 82, of Shivers, who died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Horace Phillips, in Jackson where she had resided for
the past three years. Rev Lawrence Smith and Dr. Frank Campbell officiated and interment followed in the Shivers Family Cemetery with Saulters Funeral Home in charge.
Nephews who served as pallbearers were Pat Shivers, Bennett Shivers, Webb Shivers, Cleve Shivers, E. A. (Bebe) Turnage and Jack McInnis. Mrs. Shivers was a native and longtime resident of Shivers where she was a member of the Shivers Baptist Church.
