Leroux , Genevieve Grace "Jean" (nee Steele) of Leesburg, FL. formerly of Clarkston, MI. went with God May 2nd at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her loving daughter LuAnn, age 5. She is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years, Gerald "Jerry" Leroux, son Lance (Sally) Leroux, daughter Michele (Jim Ronk) Leroux, and granddaughters Jessica and Katelyn. Jean was a "Rosie the Riveter" in a Detroit defense plant. She became a passionate volunteer, working as a playground "Mom", and retired as an election inspector after 20 years of serviced. She loved to sing, and did so with the 'Sweet Adelines" Oakland County chapter. Always a cheerful, fun loving person; she was known as mom to us and many others.
