Jacob Schneider Taken by Death. Jacob Schneider, 79, a native of Germany, who has resided in the Forest Ranch district for the last 60 years, died last night at the home of his nephew, E.W. Stokes, on 11th Avenue, following an illness of several months.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary J. Schneider, and three nephews, Isaac Stokes of Chico, Fred Schneider of Modoc, and Fred Pfeiffer of Chico.
Services will be held at 10:30 Saturday morning in the chapel of the Bicknell and Moore funeral home, the Rev. W. S. Lemmon of the Christian church officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Ranch cemetery.
