Diana K. Bailey Mathis, 65, of Oceana, WV went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at her home. She was born on July 21, 1955 a daughter of the late Roy A. and Pina Leetha Webb Bailey. Diana was a former teacher for the Wyoming County Board of Education. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Clevis Mathis a daughter Kimberly Perdue a sister Beulah Gay Walker two brothers Ottis Bailey, and Denvil Bailey and infant sister Adurey Faye Bailey. Survivors include her three step daughters Belinda (Brad) Lovins of Matheny, Tracey Mathis of Pineville and Amy Leech of Pineville a step son Johnny C. (Lisa) Mathis, II of Bassett, VA eight grandchildren Megan (Ray) Murdock, Bridget Avonelle, Ashley (Archie) Ward, Kassidee Lovins, Robbie (Victoria) Whitlow, Britney (Mike) Henson, Charles Ballato, and Jonathan Ballato nine great grandchildren Leoma Murdock, Zane Whitlow, Aubrey Whitlow, Parker Henson, Peyton Henson, Kaden Pruett, Anthony Ballato, Silas Ballato, and Jasper Ballato and a host nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, May 14th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV with Rev. Jackie Grimmett officiating. She will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny,
