Funeral services for Mr. Alton Louis Johnson, Sr. were held on Friday, October 31, 2014 in Rush Chapel, Oakdale, Reverend Greg Willis officiated. Interment followed in Blue Branch Cemetery, Pitkin.
Mr. Alton, 83, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in his residence.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Edith Rae Johnson, his parents; Leander and Izeline Johnson, his grandson; Ryan Ridgley and his granddaughter; Lacey Johnson.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his three sons and one daughter-in-law; four daughters and two sons-in-law; one brother of Fairview, LA.; two sisters of Sulphur, LA.; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
