Jack Devlin was the second son born to Henry Devlin and Jane 'Jennie' Walding Devlin, both immigrants; Henry from Canada of Irish descent, and Jennie from Germany. Jennie died when Jack was only 3 or 4 years old. I haven't found proof of who raised him after his father died. But he probably spent much of his childhood with his mother's large family in rural Huron Co., Michigan. Jack married Yvonne Marie Auclair 23 January 1927. They had the following children: Edward R., 1927-2006; Barbara,1931-2002; Paul, 1932-1958; Joen 'Bud', 1935-1976; Carolyn, b.1928; James, b.1938.
