He was born in Globe and attended Globe schools. Before he joined the Army, he was employed by the Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company. He was was killed in France on Aug. 22, 1944, and buried in April 1949 in the veterans plot of Globe cemetery. His body arrived on the Southern Pacific passenger train. He was survived by his mother, Mrs. Gregoria Reyes; five brothers, Frank, Marical, Elijio, Placido and Marciano; and two sisters, Mrs. Marcelina Dominguez and Mrs. Toma Ybarra.
