Belva Palmer, a longtime Bellview, Fla, resident, died Sunday, March 9, 1986, in
Bellview, after a long illness. She was 72.
The daughter of the late John and Susie Mae Scott Palmer, she was born Aug 12
1913 in Berston. She was a member of the Bellview (Fla) United Methodist
Church.
Mrs. Palmer is survived by her husband, Niles Lynn Palmer, at home; a son,
Robert L Palmer of Canada; 4 stepsons, James, Robert, Richard and Irving Palmer
all of New York State; 2 daughters, Beverly R Bowen and Linda M Edwards, both of
Monticello; 2 step-daughters, Eleanor VanVranken and Barbara Gilbert both of New
York State; 1 brother, Bernard Hartwell of Mount Upton; 1 sister, Eva Hanson of
Franklin; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
Services were held Thuraday at the VanInwegen, Kenny and Sulivan Funeral Home in
Monticello with the Rev. Robert Pinto officiating.
Burial was made in Rock Ridge Cemetery, Monticello.
