Beloved Mother & Grandmother passed away peacefully at her home on the morning of March 22nd. Catherine was born October 10, 1928, to Claude and Catherine (Kostuch) delMas. Preceded in death by husband Cyril of 64 years, son Stephen and daughter Clothilde Scherer. Survived by Noel Scherer (Clothilde's husband), Gabrielle (John) Elder, Raymond (Wendy), Michael (Beth), George (Melanie), Rosalyn (Dave) Puskala, Therese (Steve) Flach, Catherine (Steve) Dale, Charles (Robyn), Elisabeth (Doug) Martinson, Bernadette (Jeff) Arcand, 27 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Catherine first and foremost was a wonderful wife and mother with a loving heart. She was the hard working mother of a farming family. In addition to daily family responsibility, Catherine worked outside the home to help make ends meet during difficult farming years – such as selling Avon door to door while her children were in school. During retirement years, Catherine and Cyril were able to travel, enjoy life, spend time with grandchildren/ great grandchildren, and pursue their passion for bird watching. Catherine lived a full life and was deeply loved, respected, admired and enjoyed by her family and friends. Her life example will live on in all who knew her. We greatly mourn our loss but also celebrate a life that will shed so much on many generations to come.
