On Saturday, May 24, 1980, Nelta Jean Calvert married Thomas Lee (Tom) Hamblet, Jr. in Dallas County, Texas.
Jean had a career in Purchasing for Vought Aeronautics, and had a passion for music, art, and sewing.
Jean is survived by: her children -- Jackie Akridge, Christy Bodine, David Hamblet, Russell Hamblet, and Susie Luttrell; her grandchildren -- Kristopher Akridge, Nicole Toudouze, Meagan Meador, Chris Bodine, Jason Bodine, Clint Bodine, Kyle Bodine, and Brandy Hamblet; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Grace Street Fellowship Church (1516 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Texas 76013).
