Henrietta, Texas, October 26 -
Mrs. Cleo A. Snearly, 52, a former teacher in the Wichita Falls school system and enrolled this fall as a senior student at Hardin College, was injured fatally at 6 P.M. Sunday in a two-car collision two miles west of Grapevine on State Highway 114.
Mrs. Snearly was brought to a Fort Worth hospital where she died at 6:35 P.M. of a skull fracture.
Also injured in the accident was Mrs. Mable Pope, a veteran school teacher of Henrietta, presently employed in the history department. Her condition was not believed to be serious.
Mrs. Snearly, who was also part time employed as an insurance salesman, had been visiting a niece, Mrs. Frank Alderdice, of Dallas, also a former teacher in the Wichita Falls system, when the accident occurred. She was also a former teacher in the Henrietta schools and last year taught at the Cedar Hill school near Dallas.
She is survived by one son, C.L. Snearly, Jr., a student at Le Tourneaux Institute, Longview; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Kincaid, Irving, Texas, and one brother, Col. John B. Anderson, San Antonio, Texas.
The Hawkins Funeral Home here is returning the body to Henrietta.

Rites Set Today for Mrs. Snearly
Henrietta, Texas, Oct. 27 - Rites for Mrs. Cleo A. Snearly, 52, a student of Hardin College and former Wichita Falls school teacher, was was killed Sunday near Grapevine, will be conducted at 2 P.M. Tuesday from the First Christian Church here.
Interment, under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home, will be in Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Snearly was fatally injured in a two-car collision two miles west of Grapevine about 6 P.M. Sunday on Highway 114. She died in a Fort Worth hospital of a skull fracture about 6:35 P.M.
Also injured in the accident was Mrs. Mabel Pope, a veteran Henrietta school teacher. Her condition was not considered serious.
Mrs. Snearly is survived by one son, C. L. Snearly, Jr., Longview; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Kincaid, Irving, Texas, and one brother, Col. John B. Anderson, San Antonio.
