Bob is survived by his wife, Twila (Salmons) Ervin; children, April Ervin, Ian Ervin and Annetta Snyder; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Also surviving are numerous extended family members and many many friends, especially the Erwin brothers.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth (Haislop) Ervin; grandsons, DJ Vance and Benjamin Snyder; brother, James Ervin; and sister, Jane Ervin; and stepdaughter, Amber Wilson.
Bob graduated from Oak Hill and worked at Merillat Industries for 32 years, he also worked at General Mills for four years and Southern Ohio Fencing most recently. He also worked with Bloomfield township for two and a half terms. And he was a volunteer firefighter with Bloomfield Township for several years. He loved his cattle and farming and helping his kids take their animals to the fair year after year. He will be dearly missed by all.
Friends may call Friday, May 14, 2021 from 11-2 PM at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Funeral services will follow at 2:00. Burial will follow in Vega Cemetery.
