George Lucius Story was named after George Constant Mosher & Lucius J. Dixon. They married the Ward sisters, Cornelia Genevieve Ward & Charlotte Ward, with whom George's mother Sarah lived. Sarah was very close to the Ward girls. They were daughters of Sylvester Ward & Levina Woodruff. They are all buried in Milton Village Cemetery. Sarah was the first to marry and named her son after their intended husbands and also a daughter after them... Charlotte Genevieve Story.

He was married on 13 Feb 1876 at Montpelier, Washington County, Vermont by By Austin Scribner, Minister, to Marsaline Delia White.
