Mamie "Joyce" Andrews, 82, of Spring, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 27, 2021.

She was born May 7, 1938 in Dripping Springs, Texas to parents Jesse and Annie Christal.

Joyce received her high School Diploma from Aldine High School.

On August 25, 1962, Clifford "Andy" Andrews, the love of her life, became her husband.

Joyce worked and retired from Texaco and Barnes and Noble. She was very patriotic and was a member of both VFW and American Legion organizations and she served in the U.S. Air Force.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Andy Andrews, her parents, and her brother Alvin Gene Christal.

Left to cherish her memories are daughters: Glenda J. Andrews and Kimberly R. Andrews and her husband Joey J. Andrews; son: Billy Deas and his wife Sharmon; grandchildren: Cory Andrews, Sydney Sluder, Justin Sluder, Chrystal J. Andrews, Kayla Miller, Summer Koenig, Sarah Deas; great-grandchildren: Raelynn R. Sluder, Karsyn Mack, Kymbre Hearren, Zoey Spottswood; siblings: Elgia Lee Knowles, of Cleveland, Texas, Jesse Henry Christal of Florida, Vera Christal Akers of California, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will gather at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039 for services. Visitation will be Friday, April 30, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Family Room with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
