My mother was the oldest daughter of 8 children. She grew up on a farm, taking care of her brothers and sisters while my grandparents worked the fields. She married young and had 2 sons, David and Donald. She married my dad, Davis Woodel, and had one daughter. She was 30 years old when I was born...She loved country music, gardening, cooking and keeping house. She was a wonderful mother, and friend. She left us in 1987, at the age of 65.
