Nov 2, 1888 - Newell Mirror - Mrs. Wm. Billings, wife of Wm Billings formerly of this township, but now of Sioux City, and a daughter of Mat Cheney, of Sac county, died at her home in that city the first of this week. The remains was brought here and interred in Newell cemetery last Tuesday and a funeral held from the Congregational church.
