Aline passed away unexpectedly from cardiac arrest.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Laureat R. Comeau, of Auburn, with whom she spent 62 years sharing much love, laughter and everything in between.
Aline grew up on 3rd Street in New Auburn, with her sisters, Alma, Anna, Antonia, Alexina and Alice, and brothers, Arthur, Alphonse and Andre.
She graduated from Edward Little High School in 1936. She worked in the mills for a brief period, worked in her father's grocery store in Lewiston, and in 1942 proudly answered the call of her country by joining the Woman's Army Corps (W.A.C.) in which she served through 1945.
She adored her family, loved her church and was proud to serve her county.
While raising her family, she was a very active member of Sacred Heart Parish of Auburn. She also enjoyed skiing, reading, music, quilting, all types of needlework, time spent at Lake Auburn and traveling cross-country with her husband.
