Mr. Goins was born in Centerville, TN to the late John T. and Leva Haskins Goins. He was a retired laborer for Boyles Galvanizing Co. and was a member of the Bear Creek Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Bishop Goins of Lyles; sons, Jason and David, both of Lyles; daughters, Dianne Tidwell, and Lori Fann, both of Lyles; Sharon Tinsley of Bon Aqua; Vicky Curtis of Sevierville, TN; and Kim Smith of Linden, TN; brother, Freed Goins of Lyles; and his sister, Dorothy Bishop of Lyles.
Funeral services will be Sat., Nov. 3, 2007 at 2 PM in the chapel of McDonald Funeral Home with Shirley Goins officiating. Interment will be in Martin Cemetery located on Old Locust Creek Rd. in Hickman
