Melvin Louis Williams Sr, age 63, of Florala, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 6, 2021. He was born February 15, 1958, in Red Level, Alabama the son of Ernest Williams Sr and Luella Bradford Williams. Melvin worked in the transportation industry hauling cattle, logs, and lumber. He enjoyed Alabama football, NASCAR, and cooking for his family. His biggest legacy, however, was the immeasurable mark he left on his family. Known to them as Melvin, daddy, Bear, Pop, and Paw Paw, he will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts.
Melvin is preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Luella Bradford Williams; one brother, Ernest Williams Jr; special friend, Chasidy Franklin; one sister, Lois Toles; niece, Diane Williams.
