Earl R. Bauers, 77, Pound, WI, died Wednesday, April 9 at NewCare Convalescent Center, Crivitz, WI. He was born May 4, 1930 in Oconto, WI to Robert and Mae (DeJarlis) Bauers.

He graduated from Oconto High School in 1948. As a young boy, he drove a taxi cab for the Oconto Cab Company.

He married the former Dorothy Bishop on March 11, 1950 at First American Lutheran Church, Oconto.
The couple resided in Kenosha, WI where he worked for American Motors for 30 years. They moved to the Town of Beaver in 1980. She preceded him in death on Sept. 6, 1992.

He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Coleman.

Survivors include three children: Terry (Cveta) Bauers of Pound, WI; Mrs. Michael (Sandy) Pearson of Racine, WI and Mrs. Gary (Debbie) Schnaufer of Loveland, Colo.;
eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Robert.

The family will greet friends at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Coleman, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Friday, April 18. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the church. Rev. Gregory Stahlecker will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto.
