Mrs. Carlos Bee on $200 Bond in Alleged Attack
Mrs. Carlos Bee, 40, of 223 Fourth Street, was released under $200 bond late Saturday after she was booked at police headquarters for aggravated assault in connection with an alleged attack on Miss Lillie Cade, 1007 North St. Mary’s Street. Miss Cade was cut once on the arm with a knife, police said.
The attack, according to reports to police, was alleged to have occurred while Mr. Bee, former Congressman and San Antonio attorney, was talking to Miss Cade in the Maverick Building, where Mr. Bee has offices.
When police arrived, Mr. and Mrs. Bee were in the attorney’s office.

Bee. Mrs. Bettie Mae Bee died at a local hospital Friday morning in her 46th year. She is survived by her brothers, E.B. Oliver of Longview, Texas and J.J. and Frank Oliver of Marshall, Texas and sister, Mrs. Isadore Goldbloom of Santa Barbara, Mexico. The body will be sent by Porter Loring, mortician, Saturday evening to Longview, Texas for services and interment in that city.
