Funeral services for William H. Conn, 72, were held Sunday, January 5, at the Sardis Springs Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Steelman, John Crawford and Don Robb officiating. Burial was in Copeland Cemetery, Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Conn died at the Athens-Limestone Hospital on January 4 at 1:30 a.m. He was a resident of Athens Rt. 1.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dell Conn; two sons, Clint Conn of Birmingham and Douglas Conn of Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Freda Leousis, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Calvin Barber of Florence; a brother, Charlie Conn of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Nora Barnes, Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Elsie Bowers of Athens and Mrs. Lillie Bailey of Athens; and seven grandchildren.
